We’re working with one the most progressive digital agencies who deliver cutting edge, transformative solutions for their clients around the world. Having recently acquired another business, expanding their solution offering, and with more acquisitions in the pipeline, it’s an exciting time to join the business. As they grow, they are looking for Mid-weight and Senior Frontend Developers to join their team.

They have multiple offices in major cities across the UK but are also well equipped for people to work from home/from anywhere within the UK so there is no expectation to be office based if remote working is your preference. They offer flexible working and are trialling a 9-day fortnight to ensure a great work/life balance for their team.

What you'll be doing

You’ll work within a cross-functional, scrum team to translate designs into clean, consistent, quality code. You’ll work with modern frontend JavaScript libraries/frameworks including Next.js and a range of CMS platforms, to produce entirely Greenfield website builds for enterprise level clients as well as delivering new features and maintenance to existing platforms.

You’ll have a creative flair and an eye for detail as well as a desire for continuous learning, being curious about new and emerging technologies. You’ll be passionate about sharing ideas and knowledge, participating with peer reviews and pair programming and be comfortable liaising directly with clients on technical issues.

What skills you'll need
  • Extensive HTML, CSS/SCSS JavaScript skills.
  • Excellent knowledge of modern JS libraries/frameworks - React.js and/or Vue.js.
  • Experience with build tools like Webpack or similar.
  • Previous CMS (Content Management System) experience (Sitecore, Optimizely, Contentful, Kentico, WordPress etc or similar).
  • Git version control experience.
  • Previous experience working in an agency environment with Agile practices.
The following are desirable but not essential:
  • Familiarity with TypeScript.
  • Exposure to Next.js or Nuxt.js.
What you'll get in return for your talents.

A starting salary of up £50,000 (mid-weight) and up to to £60,000 (with wiggle room to go to £65,000 for an outstanding match - senior). You’ll also receive a range of different benefits including,
